Joel Brian Peigh passed away on July 24, 2009 after valiantly battling complications of esophageal cancer.  In only thirty-nine short years, Joel lovingly touched numerous lives.  His family and friends are thoughtfully establishing a memorial fund in conjunction with the Legacy Fund of Hamilton County under the jurisdiction and in accordance with the provisions and requirements of The Central Indiana Community Foundation.

    Those who had the privilege of knowing  Joel, admired his integrity, work ethic, and commitment to family, friends and community.  It is our honor to uphold his memory and character by establishing this foundation and reinforcing his "Peigh It Forward" philosophy toward a life well lived.

    It is our hope that grants from The Joel Brian Peigh Foundation will provide daily living assistance for the families who are personally affected by this dreaded disease.  Additionally, the Foundation will support organizations whose primary purpose is advancing cancer research.  The Joel Brian Peigh Foundation gratefully accepts charitable contributions from the public.  Charitable contributions to The Joel Brian Peigh Foundation are tax deductable to the extent provided by law.
